We are searching for a reliable Medical Assistant to perform various office and clinical duties to keep our pulmonary practice running efficiently. Our Medical Assistant will work directly with healthcare practice staff to give allergy injections, obtain vitals signs and a relevant patient history. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Recording patient information such as vital signs, weight and changes in medical history, obtaining pertinent historical records, answering phone calls, and scheduling. Assist the nurse and office manager in maintaining the medical inventory and placing orders for new materials as needed. Assist with prior authorizations and med refills. We are looking for someone who can work independently in an office with 8-10 other professionals, has an attention to detail and a friendly, helpful demeanor that promotes customer service. Experience with computer charting using Athena electronic health record helpful but not necessary.
*This position is for our Swedesboro office opening soon. (May/June). You will train in our Sewell office until the Swedesboro office opens up.
